How I like to work

No two projects are ever the same. Occasionally humbling, never boring. The same principles keep showing up regardless, so I've stopped fighting it and started calling it a methodology.

No magic, just good methods and putting in the work

  • The brief is rarely the real problem. This is the part where I slow down enough to find out what we're actually solving before anyone touches a design tool.

  • The fastest way to find out if an idea is good is to make it real. Sketch, Figma, AI prototype, whatever gets it in front of people quickest. These days the bar for "good enough to test" has moved dramatically, which is mostly a good thing.

  • Design rarely fails because of a bad visual decision. It usually fails because the wrong people were in the room, or the right ones weren't heard. I put a lot of work into making alignment feel natural.

  • Sweat the details. Polish matters as much as the concept.

  • Some constraints are real. Some are just assumptions nobody has questioned yet. I've learned to tell the difference, and to protect quality in the places that actually matter.
